By all indications, Give to the Max Day 2011 was a success in Minnesota. Nonprofits in Minnesota raised $13.4 million (34% more than was raised during the same event in 2010) from more than 47,500 generous donors (13% more donors than contributed in 2010).
This has me wondering whether the uptick we saw during this event is a sign of a potentially stronger than anticipated end to 2011, or is this simply a market correction following a more challenging 2010 event.
